Metro Services is looking to immediately hire local Material Handlers for a Manufacturing facility in Carey, OH. This is a temp/contract position. Apply Now!Duties for this position include:* Operate forklifts and other equipment in a safe manner* Complete all required and necessary safety checks* Maintain the housekeeping and 5-S activities of the finished goods warehouse, shipping/receiving warehouse, and storage areas* Ensure correct placement of finished goods in the warehouse* Ensure all incoming deliveries of components/raw materials are put in the correct storage location within the plant* FIFO all components and finished goods* Ensure all shipping documentation is complete and accurate* Ensure that all components/raw materials are stocked line side timely and without interruption to the production process* 100% on-time delivery* Able to read and understand written instructions* Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations* Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance as required* Able to meet production and quality goals* Support and participate in EHS objectives* Other duties as assignedCompensation (USD):Day Shift$18.06Night Shift$18.81Schedule:Day ShiftSunday - Saturday6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.Night ShiftSunday - Saturday6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:* High School Diploma/GED* Clean Drug Screen/Background* Must wear Steel Toe ShoesWHY APPLY FOR A JOB AT METRO SERVICESIf you're ready to take hold of your career, we can help you start down the right path, and we'll be with you the whole way.
