GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: This position is primarily responsible for attracting, screening, sourcing and interviewing applicants for field resource positions within Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc. The Recruiter will be responsible for the entire life-cycle of the talent acquisition process from the time a hiring need is identified through the onboarding of the new recruit. The Recruiter partners with management to ensure the talent acquisition strategy is aligned with business goals and objectives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary contact with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and manages the position requisition process. Takes proactive and outreaching approach to recruiting. Identifies effective sources for marketing open positions, including, but not limited to job boards, associations, and schools/colleges, etc. Creatively uses social media platforms to attract new talent and ensure high visibility of career opportunities and promotes the Tremco brand. Attends network events, job fairs or other related functions to promote and represent Tremco. Screens resumes, interviews qualified candidates, coordinates the interview process and makes recommendations regarding the best fit candidates. Answer applicant calls and help guide applicants through recruitment process. Coordinates the interviewing process by scheduling interviews with hiring manager(s) and identified stakeholders in a timely manner. Administers and interprets appropriate assessment testing and properly incorporates into the interview process. Collaborates with hiring managers to determine employment offers including appropriate compensation offer. Works in partnership with Director of Talent Acquisition and/or VP of Human Resources regarding compensation or other job details when necessary. Handles the reference, background checking and drug screening process ensuring satisfactory and timely results. Clearly and professionally communicates with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment and onboarding process. Develops and coordinates a welcome and informative onboarding experience. Manages the talent acquisition process using Taleo ATS. Coordinates candidate relocations when necessary and will work in conjunction with third party vendor. Tracks, maintains and reports on all recruitment metrics. Participates in other HR activities as needed or required by the VP of Human Resources. Ensures compliance with all local, state and federal employment laws. Follows and ensures compliance with all company policies and promotes company image and brand. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business management, psychology or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience. PHR certification a plus. Minimum of four years corporate or third-party recruiting experience required. Prior experience recruiting for national large field service organization, construction, roofing or other building maintenance trades strongly preferred. Experience in Construction industry recruitment a plus Ability to handle multiple job openings and can quickly move candidates through the system. Must have general knowledge of compensation and understanding of market rates. General understanding of Human Resource principles. Skilled in identifying creative talent acquisition strategies and pipelines, including but not limited to leverage social media, networking, and data mining of passive candidates. Experience using an Applicant Tracking System and Microsoft Office applications. Skilled at using social media platforms for recruitment (Craig's List, Facebook, Linkedln, etc.) Strong organizational skills, clear and professional communication skills, efficient time management, initiative, and critical thinking skills are a must. Must work with a sense of urgency and be able to multitask in a fast paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Superior customer service and follow up skills. Must be a team player and willingness to help where needed. Must be able to work remotely.
