Job Description Job Description SUMMARY Evaluates existing
processes and configures manufacturing systems to reduce cost,
improve sustainability and develop best practices within the
production process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include

and to continually look for ways to improve the methods, practices
and procedures of this position. Maintain a positive work
atmosphere by acting and communicating in an effective manner with
customers, clients, suppliers, and employees. Creates/manages
project timelines to optimize processes in manufacturing systems.
Understands and works with equipment drawings/schematics and
product GD&T to concept processes which lead to the development
of tooling, fixtures, manufacturing equipment and source packages
for new projects. Understands equipment controls and functions to
improve process capability and production volume while maintaining
and improving quality standards. Supports the development of
projects related to manufacturing equipment, materials and
fastening. Works with equipment designers and manufacturing
officers to develop cost-effective and working production process.
Assists in the development, planning and execution of
pre-production process development to ensure a seamless transition
to production. Maintains testing equipment. Communicates data
collected and recorded both verbally and in structured report
format. Researches and purchases new manufacturing technology.
Creates and executes equipment training procedures for new and
existing equipment. Participates in Team, Supplier and Customer
Meetings as necessary. Utilizes PLEX to support on-time project
execution and budget tracking. Miscellaneous (Non-Supervisory) Acts
as a good steward of the Companys resources and exemplifies the
values of the Company. Ensures personal compliance with all Company
policies, procedures, values, ethics, and rules. Maintains and
promotes a safe work environment through ownership of Company
safety program. This includes following and enforcing all safety
rules/regulations and proper operating procedures, as well as the
proper use of prescribed safety equipment pertinent to the
department, and immediately reporting all accidents/incidents to
supervisor and Human Resources. Supports the Companys equal
employment opportunity policy and actions, immediately reporting
violations to supervisor and/or the Human Resources department.
Ensures that work area is free from any form of harassment (sexual,
racial, religious, etc.), immediately reporting violations to
supervisor and/or the Human Resources department. Supports Companys
quality and environmental policies and programs and meets quality
requirements specified for position. Meets quality requirements
specified by production drawings, bills of materials, control
plans, policies, work instructions, and procedures. Actively
participates in and successfully completes appropriate training and
that all training provided is evaluated and that proper
documentation is provided for accurate maintenance of the employees
training record. Meets with supervisor at least once per year to
review job performance using this job description as a basis for
appraisal. Maintains complete security and confidentiality of all
Company records and employee data. Maintains a clean, orderly and
professional work environment. Performs other miscellaneous duties
as may be assigned Education: Bachelor's (Required) Experience:
Manufacturing (Automotive Industry) : 3 years (Preferred) PLEX: 3
years (Preferred) Laser: 3 years (Preferred) Welding: 3 years
(Preferred) Stamping: 3 years (Preferred)
