Job Description:
Join Clean Harbors, a leader dedicated to safeguarding our
environment through its comprehensive hazardous waste management,
emergency response services, and industrial cleaning solutions. We
are actively seeking an experienced Class A/B CDL Driver/Operator
to enhance our Transportation team. In this role, you will be
instrumental in executing critical tasks, emphasizing adherence to
environmental safety and regulatory standards. Your commitment will
contribute directly to our mission of maintaining a sustainable and
safe environment across North America. Operate Class A or B
vehicles for transporting hazardous/non-hazardous waste materials.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation
laws and regulations. Perform routine vehicle checks and
maintenance to ensure operational safety. Load and unload
materials, ensuring proper handling and minimizing risks. Prepare,
maintain, and manage transport documentation and logs for accuracy
and compliance. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and
represent the company in a professional manner. Participate in
emergency response activities when required. Support warehouse
operations including packaging and storage of materials. Proficient
operation of Class A/B vehicles with secure driving practices.
Strong knowledge of hazardous waste handling and transportation
regulations. Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance.
Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective
communication skills for customer interaction and documentation.
Medical Insurance Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s
License (CDL). Hazardous Waste Endorsement or the ability to
obtain. DOT Medical Certification.
