Job Description:

The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile HR Generalist to join The Tamaroff Group . This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with experience in recruiting, onboarding, benefits, payroll, and general HR operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be an essential part of our HR team, supporting employees throughout their full lifecycle and helping maintain a positive, compliant, and people-focused workplace culture. What You’ll Do Post job openings, review applicants, and coordinate the hiring process, including onboarding paperwork Set up new hires in systems, complete I-9s, and support onboarding communication and surveys Process payroll, manage timecards, and support benefits enrollment and updates Assist with terminations, exit interviews, and record updates Manage the employee recognition program Run and distribute regular HR reports, including new hire, termination, anniversary, and birthday reports Serve as a resource for employee relations, disciplinary actions, engagement initiatives, FMLA/leave administration, and compliance with labor laws Assist with Open Enrollment, EEO-1 reporting, and maintain familiarity with ESTA laws Qualifications & Experience 2 years of HR generalist experience; ADP Workforce Now and automotive industry experience is a plus Working knowledge of core HR functions, including payroll, benefits, and compliance Skills Strong organization and time management skills Can handle multiple tasks of competing priority Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS Systems (ADP Workforce Now, CDK, Employee Navigator preferred) Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) Paid time off, holidays, and employee recognition programs About the Company The Tamaroff Group, a respected name in the automotive industry for over 50 years, is always looking for talented individuals to join our team.
