Job Description: The Department of OB/GYN is seeking an
Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of OB/GYN to join our
growing team at the University of Toledo Medical Center and
ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Our institution features a medical
school hospital with a fully accredited OBGYN residency program,
currently home to approximately 20 active residents. The department
boasts a well-established Level 4 Maternal and Level 3 Neonatal
Childbirth unit. This position offers a unique blend of clinical
practice, teaching, opportunities for leadership development and
growth in a supportive and dynamic environment with additional
potential opportunity for resident/student education leadership.
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological
care to a diverse patient population within our Level IV
maternal/Level III neonatal childbirth unit. Participate in an
inpatient hospitalist model while also engaging in outpatient
teaching and care. Primary responsibilities, representing
approximately 90% of your effort will be to provide clinical
services in your specialty of obstetrics and gynecology at
ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Occasionally provide backup support in
GYN to the University of Toledo Medical Center Minimum
Qualifications: MD/DO degree Board Certified or Board Eligible in
Obstetrics and Gynecology Experience in an academic setting and a
strong interest in teaching and mentorship is a plus Current and
unrestricted licensure in the State of Ohio required, prior to
beginning the position. Experience in working as a team of
healthcare professionals and collaborating with them to ensure
positive, effective patient experiences with our organization.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
