Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Travel CT Technologist- Ohio American Consultants is looking for a travel CT Tech for an overnight position at a facility in Ohio. Pay Package: Taxable: $46/hour ($1656.00/week) Tax Free: $1246/week Total: $2902/week Position Summary The Travel CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) procedures in a variety of healthcare settings on a temporary assignment basis. This role requires adaptability, strong clinical skills, and the ability to integrate quickly into new teams and environments while delivering exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities - Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols - Ensure proper patient positioning, preparation, and safety during CT exams - Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring optimal image quality - Administer contrast media when applicable and monitor patients for adverse reactions - Follow radiation safety standards and infection control protocols - Accurately document procedures and patient information in EMR systems - Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals - Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards - Adapt quickly to new clinical settings, workflows, and teams Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program - Active ARRT certification (R) required - ARRT (CT) certification required - Current state licensure (as required by assignment location) - BLS certification (AHA required) - Minimum 1–2 years of recent CT experience preferred - Experience with multiple CT systems (e.g., GE, Siemens, Philips) preferred About American Consultants Since 1989, American Consultants has been the leader in national healthcare staffing and consulting services.
