Job Description Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Specializing in advanced radiological imaging, this role requires expertise in computerized tomographic procedures as well as general diagnostic radiology examinations. The position involves working under general supervision in a Level III Trauma Center, with opportunities to gain valuable experience across various hospital settings including the Operating Room (OR), Emergency Room (ER), portable imaging, and general radiology. Key Responsibilities: - Perform computerized tomographic radiological procedures with precision and care. - Conduct general diagnostic radiology exams in accordance with department protocols. - Utilize radiology equipment competently in multiple environments including OR, ER, and portable settings. - Ensure excellent patient care through effective communication and professionalism. - Maintain reliability and dependability while managing assigned imaging tasks. - Collaborate with healthcare team members to support patient diagnosis and treatment plans. Desired Experience and Qualifications: - Valid ARRT (R) certification required. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Minimum of six months experience as a Radiologic Technologist or X-ray Technician. - Proficient in performing diagnostic procedures in OR, ER, portable, and general radiology contexts. - Strong patient care skills and dependable work ethic. - Previous experience in a trauma center is highly valued. Schedule and Contract Details: - Contract duration: 13 weeks. - Shift hours: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with coverage every other weekend.
