What You'll Do: Protect, Prevent, Educate

As the Infection Prevention Nurse, you'll be instrumental in developing, implementing, and managing infection control programs. Your responsibilities will include:

Infection Prevention Leadership: Direct and operate infection prevention programs, ensuring they align with best practices and regulatory guidelines.
Monitoring & Reporting: Identify, investigate, and monitor healthcare-associated infections and communicable diseases to protect residents and staff.
Collaboration & Education: Work closely with teams to create, implement, and sustain infection prevention strategies. Provide education and feedback to staff to promote a culture of safety.
Ongoing Training & Quality Assurance: Conduct continuous staff development, training, and quality assurance performance improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to state, federal, and organizational standards.
What We're Looking For:
Licensure: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Certification: Infection Prevention (IP) Certification.
Experience: At least 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a strong focus on infection prevention.
Expert Knowledge: Familiarity with the CDC's National Healthcare Safety Network and infection control protocols.
Passion for Safety: A dedication to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
