Job Description:
The IT Lead, Cutover Management role will be responsible to
establish, standardize and execute Cutover Plan for BIOS (Business
Integrated Operating Systems) initiatives. The incumbent will be
responsible for coordinating and compiling Cutover Steps,
Dependencies, Owners and timelines for both Oracle Cloud and all
other boundary applications in scope. This role reports directly to
the IT Dir, Oracle Platform delivery.
- Establishes a standardized version of Cutover Plan which can be
re-used for future BIOS initiatives.
- Coordinates and compiles Business Continuity, Go-Live
Contingency, Hypercare Strategy as part of Cutover
planning.
- Develops, maintains, and manages the Cutover plan for BIOS
initiatives, including both Oracle Cloud and all Boundary
applications in scope.
- Works Closely with Business Leads and Workstreams to document
the business cutover plan.
- Works Closely with Legacy team and Workstreams to document
Legacy system steps.
- Works Closely with Finance Business and IT teams and Data
Conversion Team to capture Month End processing steps in both
Legacy system and Oracle Cloud.
- Acts as a liaison between the Cutover Team and the related task
execution team (OTI, ITC, PMI, STP, Data, OCM, Local Site System
owners, etc.)
- Works closely with PMO, Change Management and Workstream teams
to document Internal and External Communication plans.
- Validates Cutover task content (tasks, dependencies, executors,
durations, etc..) for various teams in the initiative.
- Validates task changes requested by the execution team members,
as necessary.
- Runs Cutover documentation and validation calls starting from
Sprint phase.
- Runs Cutover Status calls UAT and Go Live cutover
phases.
- Provides current updates on all delays, issues, risks that
arise during Cutover.
- Acts as the first point of contact for any issues/concerns that
need to be resolved and is also contacted during escalation process
(i.e., a task is not being completed on time)
- Reviews each task that is triggered for various teams (i.e., it
is copied on each team trigger email) to verify correctness for
timing, dependency, etc.).
- Reports progress and status to various levels of
management.
- Must be easily contacted by PMO/Cutover team (IM, email,
phone); contact information should be populated in the Deployment
Roster
- Compiles a list of contact numbers for executors of various
steps in the cutover plan.
- Assists with creation of Go Live coverage/travel plan for
Business and IT teams.
Incidental Functions
- Prepare and lead presentations as requested
- Lead internal teams/task forces on initiatives as
assigned
- Assist with other projects as necessary to contribute to
efficiency and effectiveness of work requirements
- Work outside the standard office 7.5-hour workday may be
required.
The successful candidate must have proven and strong experience
working in ERP implementations and must be a people leader to
collaborate across various Digital Technology and Business
teams
Formal Education & Certification
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in a Computer Science,
Computer Engineering, or Information Technology field of study
(e.g., Information Technology, Electronics and Instrumentation
Engineering, Computer Systems Management, Mathematics) or
equivalent experience.
Knowledge & Experience Required
- 10+ years of IT experience.
- 10+ years of broad-based information systems or large
platform/ERP implementation experience.
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience and success in leading and
executing Cutover plans for large ERP platform
implementations.
- Strong understanding of high-level flows like Order to Cash,
Source to Pay and Planning, Manufacturing, Inventory in ERP
systems, preferably Oracle Cloud.
- Strong understanding of Month End Tasks and
dependencies.
- Strong exposure to Data Conversion process and
dependencies.
- Proven experience effectively communicating to business domain
stakeholders and technical teams.
- Strong project management skills and/or substantial exposure to
project-based work structures.

devices, and peripherals occasionally.
- Work environment involves everyday risk or discomforts
requiring normal safety precautions typical of such places as
offices, meeting, and training rooms, i.e., use of safe work
practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, and
observance of fire regulations.
This position is not eligible for sponsorship for work
authorization now or in the future, including conversion to H1-B
visa.
This position is eligible to work in the office three days a week
and has the option to work remotely two days a week.
