Job Description Job Description Description: Location: Michigan & Ohio (onsite with field measurement duties) Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 1/2-hour lunch break Pay Range: $24.00- 30.00/ hour DOE Reports to: Construction and Architecture Team About Beal Real Estate Beal Real Estate is a real estate development and construction firm working on commercial and residential projects throughout Michigan and Ohio. We value accuracy, collaboration, and practical design solutions that support efficient construction and long-term performance. Position Summary Beal Real Estate is seeking a CAD Drafter to support our construction and architectural teams. This role will work closely with the architect and construction team to measure existing buildings and project sites, create digital building models, and assist with construction drawings. The primary drafting software used is ArchiCAD 24 by Graphisoft. Key Responsibilities • Take accurate field measurements of existing buildings and project sites • Create and maintain digital building models using ArchiCAD 24 (Graphisoft) • Translate field measurements and design direction into detailed CAD models • Assist the architect with construction drawings, revisions, and updates as needed • Coordinate with the construction team to ensure drawings reflect real-world conditions • Maintain organized and accurate drawing files throughout the project lifecycle Compensation The expected hourly range is 24.00-30.00/ hour, based on experience, skill level, and qualifications. Requirements: Required Qualifications • Experience using CAD software, specifically ArchiCAD (version 24 or similar preferred) • Understanding of architectural and construction drawings • Ability to take precise on-site measurements • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to work collaboratively with architects and construction teams Preferred Qualifications • Experience in commercial or residential real estate development • Familiarity with construction documentation and permitting sets • Prior experience working directly with architects
