Job Description Job Description Collections Specialist Cleveland, OH | Hybrid (4 Days in Office, 1 Day Remote) Tucker Ellis LLP is seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team in the Cleveland office. This role will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and supporting the firm’s collection efforts while maintaining strong relationships with attorneys and clients. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and manage assigned accounts receivable portfolios to ensure timely payment Follow up with clients regarding outstanding invoices via phone, email, and written correspondence Collaborate with attorneys to develop and execute collection strategies Research and resolve billing and payment discrepancies Document collection activity and maintain accurate records Assist with month-end and year-end accounts receivable reporting Qualifications: Minimum of one year of experience in collections in a legal or corporate setting Collections experience from commercial clients/accounts is required Strong communication and negotiation skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial or billing software What We Offer At Tucker Ellis, we value our employees and provide a robust benefits package to support their well-being: Day 1 Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage Paid Time Off: PTO begins to accumulate immediately, plus paid holidays Retirement Plan:401(k) plan with a profit-sharing contribution Monthly Contributions: Parking and/or technology stipends to support your commute and/or workspace needs Annual HSA Contribution Compensation: Compensation will start at $60,000 / year.
